Rafiq Azam Travel Bursary (RATB)-2023

RATB winners are from Sri Lanka (Gimha and Muthu) and Australia (Gracie and Kevin) had very recently visited Bangladesh to explore its architecture. Their travel plans included the heritage walk to the Old Dhaka, Parliament House (Sher-E-Banglanagar), Fine Arts Institute, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka University Public Library by Muzharul Islam, contemporary architecture by Rafiq Azam, Kashef Chowdhury and Marina Tabassum, as well as the park revitalization projects of SHATOTTO Architecture for Green Living to list a few. The travel bursary concluded with an inspiring presentation from the winners at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) on 23rd May 2023.

The coordinator of RATB Ar. Zannat Jui coordinated this travel bursary and was present during the event where she had given the students an inspiring message on the importance of going beyond the borders.
