On 25 August 2026, the Department of Architecture, Southeast University arranged a special programme for the Rafiq Azam Travel Bursary 2026, bringing together students, faculty members, jury members, and guests.
The event was made even more special by the presence of the RATB winners from Sri Lanka and Pakistan, who were visiting Bangladesh as part of their Rafiq Azam Travel Bursary experience. Their participation created a meaningful opportunity for cultural exchange and for students to hear directly about the international journey and experiences made possible through RATB.
During the programme, the jury session for the Rafiq Azam Travel Bursary 2026 was also held. Six shortlisted participants presented their entries before the jury board.
We are delighted to announce that Nazmul Alam Prince, a 5th-year student of the Department of Architecture, Southeast University, has been selected as the recipient of the Rafiq Azam Travel Bursary 2026.
Introduced in 2010 by SHATOTTO – architecture for green living, RATB has, for more than 15 years, created opportunities for young architecture students to explore architecture beyond borders through international exposure, professional experience, and direct engagement with different architectural and cultural contexts.
